Litefoot, his wife Carmen and their two sons Quannah and Sequoyah joined Ernest Stevens Jr., the Chairman of the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) in Rapid City, SD on December 18th at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center to giveaway over $4,000.00 worth of Native Style Clothing to Lakota youth gathered at the Lakota Nation Invitational Basketball Tournament.

Earlier in the day Litefoot attended and spoke at a Great Plains Indian Gaming Association luncheon which included tribal leaders and representatives from several Tribes throughout North and South Dakota.

Later that evening the capacity crowd at the Lakota Nation Invitational Tournament were shown a 10 minute clip from Litefoot’s Reach The Rez Tour. Litefoot then took center court along with his wife and sons, NIGA Chairman Ernest Stevens, Jr and South Dakota State Representative Kevin Killer and gave a rousing and passionate 10 minute speech. After Litefoot’s speech the Lakota Nation Invitational Board presented Litefoot and Chairman Stevens with Tournament jackets.

Litefoot then gave away and signed hundreds of Native Style Clothing “Honor” t-shirts which feature Chief Sitting Bull and dozens of Litefoot polo shirts.
