Litefoot made a whirlwind stop last week in Fort Lauderdale, FL to wind down his latest cross country tour…momentarily. Litefoot spoke on Saturday December 4th at the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration Winter training in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Litefoot spoke for nearly and hour and then fielded questions from attendees. Afterwards Litefoot autographed copies of his new book, “The Medicine of Prayer” and took pictures with fans.
One attendee, Susie Small left a message for Litefoot on his Facebook page, regarding the impact his talk had upon her. She stated, “Your words are motivation. Thank you! Best speech I’ve ever heard. 🙂
SAMHSA works to improve the quality and availability of substance abuse prevention, alcohol and drug addiction treatment, and mental health services and Litefoot was honored to be part of the program.
Litefoot was in Fort Lauderdale for just 20 hours before boarding a flight to travel home to be with family for a day. Litefoot is set to travel to Calgary, Alberta Canada to mark the official release of his book, “The Medicine of Prayer” on December 7th. The event is to be held at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.
