From Music to Acting…

In 1994, after returning to the U.S. from performing a rap concert in Rome, Italy I received a call from Paramount Pictures. My show in Rome was a huge hit and I actually stayed longer to accommodate the press requests for interviews. Paramount had found out about me through the American Indian College Fund (AICF) who coordinated my show in Rome and reached out to the AICF to see if there were any drama schools at any of the Tribal colleges. There of course weren’t. But they said, “There’s this Native rapper that we just took to Rome and he was really popular…” and the rest is history.
